Dr. Jeremy Johnson Values Ongoing Education to Improve His Skills

Dr. Jeremy Johnson spent the first few years of his life in Massachusetts, until, while he was still at a young age, his family moved overseas. He spent most of his childhood years living in Bangladesh, where his dad was a missionary dentist. Jeremy’s love of travel was born through the family’s visits to many Southeast Asian countries.

After completing high school equivalency in Southern California, he followed his brother to Southwestern Michigan to attend college at Andrews University. In 1997, he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology.

Dr. Johnson continued his education in Southern California at Loma Linda University, receiving a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2001. During his last year of dental school, Jeremy’s professors selected him as the recipient of the highly sought-after Academy of General Dentistry Award for his exceptional clinical skills in dentistry.

Dr. Johnson moved to Monroe in July 2003 to assume care of a retiring dentist’s clients. He spends approximately 50 hours per year in continuing education courses that allow him to keep up on current techniques and technologies in dentistry.

In addition, Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Snohomish County Dental Society, Washington Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Johnson feels his bio is incomplete without introducing you to his best friend, life partner, and master of mayhem, Heather. She’s not only integral in supporting his family at home but also in supporting the practice through marketing integration, motivational support, and emotional uplifting/thrashing, as the situation necessitates.

Dr. Johnson lives in Monroe with Heather, their son, Devan, and a terribly unattractive dog, Kenneth. Heather has three older children, Alexis, Aubrey, and Dakota, and one grandson. They spend their spare time gardening, watching movies, and entertaining friends.
